Valley Arm and Fuer Records introduce 'Where Did Nora Go' as the opening act of Agora Collects!
Where Did Nora Go is the alias for Danish singer and cellist Astrid Nora. With dreamy sounds, layers of cello in a universe that has been compared to Antony & The Johnsons, Ane Brun and even Kate Bush, Where Did Nora Go combines atmospheric pop with lyrics that deal with the role of the modern woman today.
Her eponymous debut album came out in January 2013 on the German label Für Records and was received by critics and audiences in- and outside Denmark with unusual enthusiasm. Since then, Where Did Nora Go has played quite a number of concerts in both Denmark and Germany where she has mesmerized audiences with cello and her amazing voice.
Live, Where Did Nora Go plays together with collaborator Henrik Marstal. Both of them play the cello with Marstal adding live ambient electronic sounds and performing on his 100 years old, rare Marxophone.
