As a 'satellite' event of the festival, Agora's June residency brings together four artists that will use the city of Berlin as their canvas
‘Circle Training Club’
Taking the training camp as a point of departure, CTC will demarcate points within Berlin’s urban spaces using their bodies as tools. A meditation on the mental endurance of collaborative practice and the natural impulse to charter and map new territory, each site will be activated by a circumnavigational action. The team will appear at the Agora Collects event June 21-23.
In the month of June, Agora invites four artists - previously strangers to each other - to live and work together for three short intensive weeks leading up to Agora Collects.
The four artists - Margot Charbonnier, Guilhermina Gomez, Christiana Caro and Caroline Gallacher - will be asked to depart from their solo practices in different disciplines and collaborate as a group on a project which occurs parallel to Agora Collects.
With a focus on public space, the project will occur as a 'satellite' event of the festival – a part of the program of the festival, but occurring off-site in public spaces of Berlin.
